Your ballot is coming. Your voice matters.

Your ballot is coming. Your voice matters.

Throughout the year, Future 42 has worked to keep Washingtonians informed about the decisions being made in Olympia and in communities across our state. We’ve highlighted important issues, held elected officials accountable, and provided opportunities for you to speak up and make your voice heard.

Now comes the most important opportunity of all.

Ballots for the November 3 election are arriving in mailboxes across Washington. Some voters may already have theirs, and all counties are scheduled to mail ballots by October 16.

This election is an opportunity to help shape Washington’s future. The decisions voters make will have consequences that extend well beyond Election Day, influencing the direction of our state and our communities for years to come.

At Future 42, we believe informed, engaged citizens are essential to a better Washington. That’s why we’ve spent the year sharing information, asking tough questions, and encouraging Washingtonians to get involved.

But staying informed is only part of the equation. The most impactful thing you can do is take that knowledge to the ballot box.

When your ballot arrives, take the time to fill it out and return it. Then go one step further: encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to do the same. Remind them that their participation matters and that every eligible voter has an opportunity to help determine what comes next.

Don’t leave Washington’s future for someone else to decide.

Ballots can be returned by mail with no postage required or placed in an official ballot drop box. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by November 3, and drop boxes close at 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can check your ballot status and find voting information at VoteWA.gov.

You’ve spent the year making your voice heard. Now make sure your vote is counted.
