March 8: Statehouse Rally: Protect our children, restore police pursuits

***PROTECT OUR CHILDREN: RESTORE VEHICULAR PURSUITS***

WHEN: WEDNESDAY, March 8, 2023, AT 1PM

WHERE: CAPITOL STEPS, Supreme Court Side

WHY: This week is the last chance for legislators to move House Bill 1363, which restores vehicular pursuits for our police officers, before an important cutoff. If the full House of Representatives does not vote for the bill, it cannot be passed this session.

Tomorrow, lawmakers, families, and crime victims will gather at the Capitol to speak about the need to restore pursuits. You will hear from the mother of a 12-year-old girl who tragically lost her life because of the failed police restrictions passed in 2021 and we will remember the two children that were killed last week in a car accident in Eastern Washington. This is our time to act.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Tell your friends and family to join us at the Capitol tomorrow and urge lawmakers to hold a vote on the House Floor for HB1363.

If you cannot make it in person, there is still time to tell your lawmakers to restore police pursuit in our state!
