Announcing Future 42’s 2024 Scorecard for the Edmonds City Council

Future 42 Snohomish County is a local county project dedicated to advocating for key issues such as public safety and tax relief. We are a grassroots effort mobilizing Snohomish County citizens to make their voices heard at the local level. We have recently completed our first set of local scorecards which highlight key votes taken by Councilmembers in 2024. Below are some of the key votes in Edmonds which were taken relating to public safety, fiscal responsibility, and government regulations:

• 2025-26 city biennial budget adoption
• Regional Fire Authority (RFA) annexation ballot measure that would raise property taxes
• Accessory dwelling unit code change to reduce regulations and increase housing options
