How Snohomish County State Lawmakers Voted on Tax Increases in 2025
Our state legislators began legislative session in Olympia on Monday, January 12th, and there has already been a flurry of discussion on the need for tax increases and even new taxes such as an income tax which will be proposed this session. This comes on the heels of the largest tax increase in state history which was passed by legislators just last year.
Future 42 has published a scorecard highlighting the voting records of all 24 members of Snohomish County’s state legislative delegation on key tax increases which were passed in the 2025 legislative session and signed into law. Take a look at the scorecard and see how your legislator voted last year!
We’d like to thank the members of the Snohomish County state legislative delegation who voted against the record $12 billion in tax increases
For those members who voted to approve the bills which made up the largest tax increase in state history, we’ll be watching how you vote in this coming legislative session. The citizens of Snohomish County and our state are in need of tax relief and we are calling on our legislators to vote “no” on any new taxes/tax increases which are proposed in 2026!
